Short, because a long list nobody reads protects nobody.

How a plug-in behaves, what a control does, what you got out of it, what you could not get out of it, and what you would want next. Bug reports are welcome and go in the channel of the plug-in they concern. Tracks you made with them are welcome too.
Disagreeing is fine. Being unpleasant about it is not, and that includes being unpleasant about other people's tools, other makers and other brands. Anybody can be wrong on a Tuesday. Nobody has to be humiliated for it.
Four things, and only four.
Abuse aimed at a person, whoever they are. Advertising, link dropping and anything that reads as a sales pitch. Cracked software, licence keys, and requests for either. Private information about somebody who did not put it here themselves.
Everything else stays, including posts that say a plug-in of ours is not good enough. That is the most useful thing anybody can write here.
Text and links.
There is nowhere to upload audio, video or images, and that is deliberate. It keeps the forum fast, it keeps it cheap to run, and it removes a whole category of things that can go wrong on a site run by one person. Put a track on your own platform and link to it.
Your avatar is drawn from your initials. Nothing to upload, nothing to moderate, and no two people look the same.
A machine first, then a person.
Every post passes an automatic check before it appears: language aimed at a person, the shape of spam, and the behaviour of the account posting it. Most posts go straight through. A post the check is unsure about is held, not deleted, and waits for a human to look at it. That human is Ronald.
Every automatic decision is written down with its reason, and every one of them can be undone. If something of yours was held and you think that was wrong, say so at info@wearemey.com and it gets looked at by a person the same week.
Repeatedly breaking rule 02 gets an account suspended for a while. It takes a lot to be removed entirely, and it has never happened yet.
One button, no drama.
Every post has a report link. Use it instead of replying to the post, because replying is what the kind of post you want to report is usually fishing for. Reports are not public and the person you reported is not told who did it.
Yours, and you can take it back.
We store what you typed: your handle, your name, your address, your bio and your posts. We never store your password itself, and we never store your IP address. What the privacy statement calls data, and what happens to it, is written out in full on the privacy page.
You can download everything on your account as a file, and you can delete the account yourself. Deleting removes your name, your address, your bio and your handle. Your posts stay, with no name on them, because a three-year-old thread full of holes helps nobody and because with the name gone there is nothing of you left in it.
