The plug-ins
Halo 2000 is a reverb and delay plug-in for macOS and Windows (VST3 and Audio Unit). Unity Balancer is a mastering-balance plug-in for macOS. Both are free.
Free: donations optional
Every plug-in is free and is a direct download, so you can have any of them without paying anything. If you'd like to support the work you can choose to donate, but it's entirely optional and changes nothing you receive. Any donation goes through Ko-fi, which handles the payment and any tax: we never see your card details.
One key, your machines, no account
Halo 2000 comes with one licence key, free. You can use it on as many machines as you own (there is no device limit), and you do not need an account to use the plug-in. Paste the key into the plug-in and it activates. Please keep the key to yourself: don't publish or resell it. Unity Balancer needs no key at all.
Fourteen days without a key
Halo 2000 runs the full version for 14 days from first load with no key, no email address and no account, and without contacting any server. After 14 days it stops passing audio until your free licence key is entered, but it still loads and your sessions open exactly as before. Nothing you made is lost.
What we don't promise
We build these carefully and test them, but the software is free and provided "as is": we can't guarantee it suits every system or use. Try it in your own sessions before you rely on it. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid, if any. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.
Nothing to buy
Because the plug-ins are free, there's nothing to purchase and nothing to refund. If you made a voluntary donation and want it back, that runs through Ko-fi. See thedonations & refunds page.
Updates
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If something here is unclear, write to info@wearemey.com and we'll explain it.
